Since colouring in her father's architectural drawings as a little girl, pens and pencils have never left Mel's hands. Learning to paint at a young age, she soon knew what her dreams where made of and sought to achieve them.
Paintings, mixed media pieces, sketches with biro and watercolour, a whole host of media are used, but it is painting Mel favours most. This medium allows her to transport the view from her mindset most successfully.
She graduated from Kent Institute of Art and Design in 2008 with a BA (Hons) Fine Art and has undertaken commissions ever since, alongside building her own collection of work.
