I am a retired mechanical engineer who after a lifetime devoted to technical matters has taken up painting again,a hobby I enjoyed many years ago. The subjects that I prefer are mainly landscapes although portraits may be tried later. I like to use oil paint as this medium provides the rich deep colouring I use a lot in my pictures.
