In this painting, 1 of 4 I am using a soft focus, dragging black ink into clean water and applying acrylic paint straight from the tube without too much editing, and then using a pale yellow horizon for sharp focus. Some masking tape for sharp edges. Afterwards with a soft sponge and a medium I applied a wash of light blue depicting a downpour of water.
